Windshield wipers are a winter time maintenance must

Windshield wipers streaking in the rain are pretty annoying, but when they can't clear a snow and ice covered windshield, they can be dangerous. It's kind of like the guy who tries driving down the road with just a  patch of the windshield cleared. Of course it would only take him a second longer to clear the rest of the windshield, but somehow he's in too much of a hurry to do that. Sometimes we can be like that about maintaining our cars. Usually, it's simple if we take a minute, but we normally put it off and put ourselves at risk.
Wiper blades come in wide varieties. I recommend bracketless wiper blades because they won't get packed with ice and snow. Wipers usually won't clear well because the pivoting brackets in standard blades get iced up and won't allow for proper contact on the curve of the windshield. A straight edge won't clear the glass, and the brackets are supposed to help maintain contact. The bracketless blades maintain contact through tension and wind. They are usually designed with a curve that allows the wind to create additional pressure while driving down the road. This helps create a clean sweep.
Quick note, regardless of what type of blades you use, free the rubber from ice BEFORE you turn on the wipers! I don't know how many blades I've replaced that were completely torn because the rubber was stuck to ice. It takes a second and will save you time and money.
If you would like someone to help you out, give us a call! We would be happy to come by and put wiper blades on for you wherever you are!

Fluctuation in surrounding temperature has negative effects on the wiper blades along with other components of the vehicle. Wiper blades plays crucial role by providing clear visual to the drivers during the extreme weather condition and hence prevents unfortunate situations. So, the wiper blades needs to be inspected at a regular interval and if unable to perform it's job more effectively, then it should be replaced with suitable substitutes.

Windshield wipers play a crucial role to provide clear visual to drivers and hence prevent accidents. In the winter lots of ice & snow get deposited on the windshield. We must not clean them with a wiper blade as wiper blades will get damaged by it. We have to use an ice scraper to clean them. We should use windshield wiper fluid that is rated to cold temperatures so that it can prevent the build up of ice. Wiper blades need to be inspected at a regular interval and if they are not able provide clear visibility they must be replaced by a certified technician.
